Women love to spend money but not every expensive thing or object out there can be easily purchased and just like the most expensive shoe in the world, the most expensive dress in the world is not an object that can be easily bought except by the rich and mighty.
But even though it is financially outside your reach, it is still there for us all to admire. And that is exactly what we shall be doing with the images to be presented on this post.
Today i present to you the most expensive dress in the world and it goes by the name Nightingale of Kuala Lumpur.
The price tag is huge for just a piece of body wear. But then, not every dress is endowed with a large covering of 751 Swarovski crystals.
The Nightingale of Kuala Lumpur‘ was first presented to the public in 2009 at the festival STYLO Fashion GrandPrix KL, spotting a pear-shaped diamond weighing 70 carats, Belgium-cut diamonds from Mouawad.
The dress was created by the well-known Malaysian designer named Faisol Abdullah and comes with a $30 million price tag.
“Stocks drop, gold is even falling but a diamond is forever. This is a dress with diamonds. Why do backwards, why can’t we go forwards?” the designer of the dress, Faisol Abdullah, told Reuters as he showed off his sketches back in 2009.
For many people this is simply another case of extravagance taken too far. But for the rich, this dress is just another financial stretch through which their wealth can be measured and even preserved.
While it is true that there are people the world over dying of hunger, with millions having no roof over their heads and that a $30 million dress is an insult to their plight.
We shouldn’t forget that life has placed before us different paths and the varying resources found on life’s transitory journey is for us to decide on what to use them for, like buying the most expensive dress in the world.
Those diamonds are worth it! And only those with the means to acquire the most expensive things in life can go near it.
